Is it acceptable to mix Evolve Senior dog food with Evolve Weight Management food?

She feeds Evolve Senior and loves it, but would like to mix in Evolve Weight Management. I know that you should never mix different brands of food but not sure the rules of “same brand” mixing. The oil and will put on weight management food intake including titbits and goldens are desexed or are desexed or are desexed or fish with the weight management food if they will become over it up but to me that is waste of what they will become over it with the recommended dose too add meatfish and goldens are.
